Simkus, Stephanie Stephanie Simkus, age 93 of South Bend , Indiana formerly of White Cloud, passed away Thursday, December 12, 2002 at the Regency Place Nursing Home in South Bend . Stephanie was born on July 11, 1909 in Cicero , Illinois to John and Eleanor (Dzesulski) Gadams and married Dr. John Simkus D.D.S.S. in 1935 in Chicago. Dr. John Simkus preceded her in death on July 29, 1979 . Stephanie had been a legal secretary for several years until her retirement. She was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in White Cloud. She is survived by her daughters, Rita (Edmund) Dargis of South Bend, Indiana; Juanita (Don) Dulkinys of Surry, Virginia ; 10 grandchildren; 16 grandchildren. Funeral Mass services were held on Wednesday, December 18, 2002 from the St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Tony Russo presiding with interment in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in White Cloud.
