Steven Gregory Chupp, age 36, of Holiday Island, Arkansas, passed away unexpectedly on December 4, 2017. Steven was born on September 27, 1981 in Fremont to Steven and Cory (Wetmore) Chupp. Steven grew up in Newaygo and later moved to Georgia, Florida and moved to Holiday Island in 2014. Steven had been a finish carpenter for several years and made excellent furniture and also was a trim carpenter for homes. Hunting, fishing, being on the water, and golfing, all types of sports and was an avid University of Michigan fan.

He is survived by his wife – Sara of Holiday Island, Arkansas; his children, Laila Laree of Holiday Island, Arkansas; Benjamin Moses of Holiday Island, Arkansas; his parents, Steven and Cory Chupp of Newport Richey, Florida; his sister, Jammie Chupp of Newport Richey, Florida; his niece, Trixie of Newport Richey, Florida; maternal grandparents, John and Ethel Sluiter of Fremont; paternal grandfather, Moses Chupp in Newaygo; several aunts and uncles, many cousins.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at 2pm at the White Cloud Mennonite Church with luncheon following and also Memorial Gathering on Saturday, April 28 Newaygo City Park at 8pm (next to Wisner canoe) in downtown Newaygo.
