Steven F. Cook, age 52 of White Cloud, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, November 08, 2012 at his home. Steven was born on July 11, 1960 at Fort Huachuca, Arizona to Roland L. and Georgia (Mathews) Cook. Steven graduated from White Cloud High School in 1978 and had been a welder in the commercial construction industry for several years. Steven married Nancy L. Thompson (Frens) on October 7, 2006 at the Big Prairie Chapel and enjoyed woodworking, fishing, hunting and especially treasured the time spent with children. Steven was a member of the Woodville Community Church. Steven is survived by his wife, Nancy of White Cloud; his sons, Christopher McCambridge of Newaygo; Roland Cook of Florida; step children, Aimee Thompson (fianc, Brandon) of Montague; Terry (Nickie) Thompson of Montague; 8 grandchildren; his mother, Georgia Burns (special friend, Jim Fowler) of White Cloud; sisters, Lorayne Wisner of Evart; Suzanne Cook of White Cloud; brothers, Gregory Cook of White Cloud; Joe (Karrie) Burns of Stanton; father and mother-in-law, Dave & Bernice Frens of Fremont; several aunts and uncles, including a special uncle, Bob (Mary) Cook of Big Rapids; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Steven was preceded in death by his father, Roland L. Cook in 1968; his brother, Jeffrey W. Cook in 2005; his step father, Frank Burns in 2008. VISITATION : Sunday, November 11, 2012 from 5-8pm at Crandell Funeral Home White Cloud Chapel. FUNERAL SERVICES : Monday, November 12, 2012 at 12pm at the Woodville Community Church.
