Mr. Steven "Beaver" Rogers, age 37 of Holton passed away unexpectedly on Saturday September 1, 2001. He was born on March 22, 1964 in Fremont to Silas and Jessie (Cobb) Rogers. Beaver was a graduate of Holton High School and was a licensed building contractor. He married Cyndi Hill on June 30, 1990 in Holton where he attended the Cornerstone Free Methodist Church in Holton and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He is survived by his loving wife, Cyndi; daughter, Tessica; sons, Kamen and Tate at home; his mother, Jessie of Holton; sisters, Lynn (Robert) Knash of Fremont; Jeanie (Curtis) Plaisance of Gonzolas, Louisiana; Cathy (David) Brake of Fremont; Rhonda (Ron) Johnson of Holton; Sandy (Byron) Cover of Sand Lake; Lori (Marty) Witt of Baldwin; Kerri (Donald) Richards of Holton; brothers, Dan (Mary) Rogers of Fremont; Bob (Doris) Rogers of Twin Lake; Stan (Tammi) Rogers of Holton; Chuck Rogers (Berwalt) of Lansing; father and mother-in-laws, Joseph and Teresa Richards, Phillip and Donna Hill; many brothers-in-laws and sisters-in-laws, several nephews and nieces. Funeral services were held on Thursday, September 6, 2001, from the Cornerstone Free Methodist Church in Holton with Pastor David Grubber officiating with interment in Oakwood Cemetery in Holton.
