Steven Earl Schultz, age 68 of White Cloud, formerly of Rockford, passed away Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at his home.  Steve was born on April 7, 1955 in Grand Rapids to Robert Marion and Bonnie Lou (Bement) Schultz.  Steve graduated from Grandville High School where he excelled on the swim team, winning several awards during his time on the team and later graduated from Grand Rapids Junior College.  Steve began working at Camp Swampy at Diamond Lake in 1976, owned by Steelcase at the time, and then started his career at Steelcase in Grand Rapids where he worked for 28 years until his retirement.  Steve enjoyed reading the newspaper front to back every day, listening to all types of music and had a large collection of albums of many artists when he was younger.  Steve enjoyed raising his daughters in Rockford and following their school activities and truly enjoyed spending time on Diamond Lake from his childhood until he moved permanently in 2006.

Steve is survived by his daughters, Bonnie (JD) Stencel and their children, grandson - Braden (Nicole) Schultz and their children - great grandchildren, Wesley, Wyatt and Bonnita; granddaughter – Rowyn; granddaughter – Ayla; daughter – Josie (Tim) Vandermeulen and their children, grandsons  – Alec, Owen, Reece; his special sister,  Cathy (Jack) Rodarmer; 1 aunt; several nieces, nephews, cousins.  Steve was preceded in death by his mother and father, Bonnie Schultz and Robert Schultz; his sister, Dianna Boersen; brother, Bob Schultz; his nephew, Steven Rodarmer.
