She was such a lady and a wonderful person to know and be around. I fondly remember the times spent at Mary & Toms 4th of July celebrations; your 60th birthday at the Viking B&B and your wonderful hospitality when Dave and I visited in Tucson. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. May you find comfort in all of your memories and know that friends and family share your grief. Sue & Dave Yunker Posted 6/15/2010 To Sue's Family, We send our sympathy to all of you. As winter residents we remember Sue as being a dedicated person there in the office for all of us. She was always ready to be a help if needed. Sincerely, Lew and Sue Judy Posted 6/15/2010 Dearest Dex, Terri, Cory, Josh, and Shawn (and grandchildren/family), My deepest sympathies to you all in the passing of Sue. I first met Sue when working at the Fremont Chamber of Commerce "back in the day". She was a mentor, friend and beautiful person. Sue had a special spark in her eye when she spoke of her husband, children and grandchildren (needless to say, she glowed all the time). Sue had a great enthusiasm for life, love and family. She will be missed more than words can say. Sincerely, Kristi A. Colvin Posted 6/15/2010 My husband and I were so shocked and so very sorry to hear about Sue. Our deepest sympathy to all of the family. We will remember her fondly for her great joy and spirit. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her. Penny and Robert Kuehl, Wisconsin and Voyager RV Resort, Tucson, AZ Posted 6/16/2010 To The Family of Sue, Sue Fuller was my friend. We shared many moments together while serving on the Arizona Association of RV Parks and Campground state Board of Directors. Sue and I served on the Exec Com together for 6 years. She was smart and so capable in her positions as the General Manager of Voyger RV Resort and as a member of the Arizona BOD. I know for a fact that many residents of Voyger loved Sue and had a high respect for her cheerfulness as well as her abilities as a manager. Sue and I loved to keep in touch by email since she was in the Southern part of the state and I in the North. Today is a sad day for me for I have lost a friend, but I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that someday she and I will meet again. Love to Dex and all the family, Jo Ann Mickelson J&H RV Park, Flagstaff, AZ Posted 6/16/2010 We were so sorry to hear of Sue's passing. Our deepest sympathy to her family. You will be in our thoughts and prayers. Bob and Joy Collins Posted 6/16/2010 We share in your loss and count ourselves fortunate to have been some of the many Voyager residents who valued all Sue did for us. She left a legacy that few could ever hope to emulate. Her enthusiasm, incredible list of ideas and determination to make our lives full and rich while residing at Voyager would be extremely difficult to duplicate. She , like Ike, made us feel like individuals that collectively were in their uppermost thoughts. We consider ourselves blessed to have had the opportunity to share some time with her. May the memories, the strength provided through faith and time help heal your loss. May you know that in your loss, you are not alone! While not there with you, our thoughts, prayers and hearts have traveled to share your celebration of a life taken far too soon but one that provided more than most ever could hope to accomplish. Tony & Midge Lopez Posted 6/16/2010 We are so glad that we had a really nice visit with Sue & Dex at the Cinco de Mayo party. That will be a special rememberance of Sue, and all the other good thot's and memories we have of her, and how full of life she always had. In friendship, Joan & Norm Knorr Posted 6/16/2010 We were so sorry to hear of the illness and death of Sue. She was so full of energy and so much fun. We especially enjoyed our visits with Sue and Dex in Fremont, our family reuniones in Minnesota, and enjoyed their hospitality in Tucson. We're especially grateful to Sue for sharing her life with my brother and making his life so happy. We love you, Sue; rest in peace. Judy and Pete Peterson La Paz, Baja California Sur, Mexico Posted 6/16/2010 Please accept our sincere condolences. Sue made life better for those she encountered along the way, especially for us at Voyager. We are all diminished by her passing and she will be missed. Jim and Shirley Mink Posted 6/16/2010 Our thoughts and prayers are with the family. We enjoyed Sue and Dex and "across the street" neighbors at the Cove back in 2000 to 2003. It is sad to see such a young life struck down. Jim and Jeanette Kenney Posted 6/16/2010 As Voyager Residents and active volunteers, we had many opportunities to come in contact with Sue. She was a delightful person to know, and she always had time to greet people and was always willing to listen to concerns of residents. She is already missed by the Voyager community and will be missed by all who knew her. Our deepest sympathy goes out to Dex and the family. Frank and Lee Faris Posted 6/16/2010 We wish to send our condolences to Dexter and family. Sue was a wonderful employee and member of the Voyager family. She will be missed. May she rest in peace. Cleatus and Dorothy Raines, Voyager, Tucson, AZ. Posted 6/16/2010 Dear Sharon, Art, Dexter and family, Last evening, I learned and read with sorrow of the death of Sue, but memories of her and your family will live on. Though memories will bring tears, memories will also bring strength as we reflect upon the joys and victories of life. Attending high school with both Sue and Sharon and later working with Jewel (a most fitting name) at Gerber and later bowling with Dexter in the church league, many memories come to my mind. Life is good though it is often not a bed of fragrance flowers. Our Christian faith assures us of a greater life beyond the veil of death. 1 Corinthians 15:20-28 Ken (Anita) Osterman Posted 6/18/10 How can anyone so special be lost to us forever when, really, we all have gained so much by being a part of Sue's life. Mary and I both shared this thought. In our lives, how many people will you meet that you completely trust and feel totally comfortable with Sue was that person--always meaning well, willing to put off a migraine to help someone with their headaches and heartaches. My first conversation with Sue was when Dexter and her were on their way to visit us in Minnesota. Talking to Sue on the phone, she said, "I can't wait to meet you". My reply, which she said later "scared the hell" out of her--"Well, I'm willing to get through it if you are"! Later that visit, after getting along great and totally enjoying meeting her, she laughed and told me how much I worried her with my statement and then added that I was just a big push-over. Sue nicknamed me "Captain Tom" after Mary and I took her, Dexter, Shawn, Justin, Denny & Judy out on our houseboat on Crosslake. It was pouring rain, very windy and rough, and the more we busted waves, the more Zima's found it's way to Sue's "giggly spot". Sue and Dex were totally wet from the waves coming over the deck. We had a blast. When Mary and I visited Sue & Dex in Arizona, Sue was so proud to show us the RV Campground and it's total operation from the golf course, swimming pool, restaurant and the campground's own private post office. Took us to the Diamondbacks game and then to the huge project Ike had in northern Arizona. The beautiful "spec" homes. All of which Sue had a "big" part in. She made us feel so comfortable and spent time with us that I'm sure she had more important things to do. We will never forget that. I'm not sure that having all these great and precious memories and God having Sue is something we understand, but time will help ease the pain for all of us. Maybe someday we will understand. It is better to have loved Sue and lost her, than to have never known her at all. Thank you God for the awesome gift you gave us. She was our "angel" on earth and we will never forget her! Tom & Mary Antonsen Posted 6/18/10 Sue was very special to all of us at the Voyager. She was a bright light that will never be forgotten. The Steve Swickard Family Stephen Seickard Posted 6/18/10 Dexter - our deepest sympathies to you and all of Sue's family. Back in the days when I worked for you, I knew that she put a smile on your face and a spring in your step! You're in my thoughts. Marilyn Lauritzen Posted 6/18/10 Jim and I want to send our deepest sympathy to your entire family in the death of Sue. The Voyager is a better place for all the hard work by both Sue and Dex. She will be missed but we hope Dex will continue on with the Voyager. We will keep you all in our thoughts, prayers and concern, Jim and Pat Peters Posted 6/18/10 I was very sorry to hear of Sue's passing. We had many good times years ago and she was a great friend. Unfortunately I didn't hear about arrangements until the time had already passed. My sympathies to all the family. Bob Shutts Jean Shutts Posted 6/18/10 Dexter and Family I was very sorry to hear of Sues passing. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this time. She was such a wonderful person. Carolyn Bethka Posted 6/23/10 To Dexter and family, We are so very sorry to hear of the illness and passing of Sue. She was so warm and kind to all of us. It was always so nice to see her smiling face at our family reunions. She will be greatly missed. Joel and Katria (Taylor) Kubesh family Gary and Chit Taylor Posted 6/23/10 Sue will be missed by many and am truly sorry for you and your families' loss. I enjoyed my relationship with Sue and found her to be a special person here at the Voyager. Her zest for life and making others comfortable was only a small part of her value. God's plan for all of us is in his time and we can only remember we have a choice in life on seeing each other in the other life. May God fill your lives with peace and joy. Sincerely Carlene Cooke Posted 7/9/2010 Dear Family of Sue Fuller, We are saddened by the loss of Sue. She was a beautiful person and worked very hard to make the Voyager a wonderful place to come and live. I will never forget when Sue sent us a bouquet of cookies when we purchased our Park Model at the Voyager. What a thoughtful lady she was. I will never forget how she always had a smile on her face and was so willing to work out difficult situations with people that live at the park. We send out deepest sympathy to her family. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this difficult time. Howard and Barb Maki Battle Lake Minnesota
