Sue Ellen Otterson, age 59 of Hesperia, passed away Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at the Newaygo Medical Care Facility following a short illness. Sue Ellen was born on January 4, 1959 in Fremont to Clarence and Pauline A. (Lynn) Otterson and has been a lifelong resident of the area. Sue Ellen had worked at Progression's in Hart for several years and enjoyed dancing, singing, reading, crafts and dining out. Sue Ellen truly loved her mother and spending time with her.

Sue Ellen is survived by her guardian and neice, Michelle (Mark) Fairchild of Hesperia; several other nieces, nephews and cousins. Sue Ellen was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Pauline A. (Lynn) Otterson; her sisters, Dolly (Bryan) Kirwin; Dolores Dougan; brother-in-laws, Verlus Bryan; Max Kirwin; Gaylord Dougan; her neice, Diane Fairchild; her great nephew, Travers Levi Beatty.

Graveside services will be held in the spring at the West Hesperia Cemetery. Friends may consider memorial contributions to the Harbor Hospice – Poppen Residence or Newaygo Medical Care Facility Patient Fund for memorial contributions in memory of Sue Ellen.
