Susan Marie Charles, age 61 of Muskegon, passed away Thursday, July 15, 2010 at the Brookhaven Nursing Center in Muskegon. Susan was born on September 29, 1948 in Muskegon to Jay H. and Martha M. (Crawford) Charles. Susan had been a resident of the Parkside Home in Muskegon for many years. Susan is survived by her sisters, Joyce (Daniel) Light of Muskegon; Barbara LaRue of Muskegon; Beverly (Dennis) David of Hesperia; her brother, Orville Charles of Muskegon; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Martha in 1999 and her father, Jay in 2008. Private graveside services will be held at the Maple Grove Cemetery in Fremont.
