Susan White Cooper, age 95, of Fremont passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2003 , at the Newaygo Medical Care Facility. She was born on August 1, 1907 , in Fremont to Milo A. and Eloise (Brinkman) White and married John S. Cooper, Sr. on November 11, 1939 , in Fremont . She was a faithful wife and homemaker and member of The First Congregation Church in Birmingham , Michigan . Susan attended the First Congregational Church United Church Of Christ in Fremont . Susan is survived by her children, Susan (Jack) Cady of East Lansing, John Jr. (Gail) Cooper of Fremont, and Charles W. (Nancy) Cooper of Downingtown, Pennsylvania; eight granchildren, Katherine Kidder (Keith) Tolentino, Christine Susan Cooper, Sarah Cooper (Dirk) Mehlhorn, Gage L. Cooper, Bradley Cooper, Charles (Heather) Cooper Jr., Peter Kidder, and Thomas John (Candace) Kidder; three great-grandchildren, Charles Cooper III, Joshua Cooper, and Chelsea Cooper; and several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband John S. Cooper Sr. on July 12, 1982; son, Gage R. Cooper II; sister, Lois Kendall; and brothers, Charles O. White and Milo White. Funeral services were held at 11 am Saturday, January 25, 2003 , from the First Congregational Church United Church of Christ with Rev. Ray Dekker officiating. Interment was in Maple Grove Cemetery .
