Susan L. Cunningham, age 71 of White Cloud, passed away Saturday, November 28, 2020 at the Spectrum Health Butterworth Campus in Grand Rapids. Susan was born on February 19, 1949 in Plymouth, Michigan to Joseph and Lillian (Weltzer) Fulton. Susan married Ralph Cunningham on December 31, 2002 in Woodville and Ralph preceded her in death on October 19, 2017. Susan moved to the White Cloud area in 1990 from Calumet and had been a homemaker all her life. Susan enjoyed cooking, the Detroit Lions and Detroit Tigers, going to the casino, taking car rides around the area canning, and spending time with her family. Susan is survived by her sons, Billy (Renae) Ruitta of White Cloud and their children, Sierra, Kaylea, and William II; Irving (Joyce) Riutta of Houghton and their children, Jessica, Kelly, and Megan; her brothers, Joe (Velma) Fulton of Detroit and Florida; Dan (Shirley) Fulton of White Cloud. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Lillian Fulton and by her husbands, Ralph Cunningham and Dale Jackman. A Gathering to celebrate and remember Susan will be held in the summer of 2021 at the family home.
