Susan L. Dumford, age 85 of White Cloud, passed away Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at her home. Susan was born on October 29, 1925 in Dayton, Ohio, to Clarence and Viola (Purdin) Bockoven and married Donald M. Dumford on July 25, 1943 in Belbrook, Ohio. Susan was an active member of the White Cloud United Methodist Church and enjoyed her Bible group, crocheting, and spending time with her family. She is survived by her children, Donna Sue Zimmer of White Cloud, Mona Lee ( David) Hitz of Ohio, Donald (Patricia) Dumford of Ohio, Lisa Kay Dickey of Midland, and Kathleen Marie Gould of Midland; 8 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and brother, Earl (Pat) Bockoven of Ohio. She was preceded in death by her husband Donald M. Dumford in 1989; daughter, Dianne Arlene Easley; son, Arthur Clinton Dumford; and sister, Anna Mae Fordyce. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 17, 2011, from 5 8 PM at the Crandell Funeral Home in White Cloud. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Friday at the White Cloud United Methodist Church with Pastor Jeff Bowman officiating. Interment will be in Big Prairie Cemetery.
