Susan May Fredenburg, age 93 of White Cloud, passed away Monday, November 25, 2013 at her home following a well lived life. Susan was born on December 21, 1919 in White Cloud to Eli P. and Elizabeth Viola (Chupp) Kuhns and later married Joseph H. Fredenburg on July 20, 1941 in White Cloud. Joseph preceded her in death on November 29, 1970. Susan has been a lifelong resident of the White Cloud area where she had been a homemaker and was a member of the White Cloud Mennonite Church. Susan enjoyed gardening, scrapbooking, crocheting and knitting and embroidery, and enjoyed raising chickens. Susan is survived by her daughters, Ruth Ann (Ralph) Rattin of White Cloud; Lois K. Johnson of White Cloud; Joanne M. (Jeff) Hensley of White Cloud; 17 grandchildren; 39 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; her sisters and brother, Ruth Kuhns of White Cloud; Lenus (Ada) Kuhns of White Cloud; Barbara Holleman of Nashville, Tennessee; Betty (Delbert) Burkholder of White Cloud. Susan was preceded in death by her children, Larry, Daniel, Mary, Martin, and Judy; her sister and brothers, Clara Fredenburg; Ira, Martin; Edwin; Rev. David; Jonas; Eli and William Kuhns VISITATION : Monday, December 2, 2013 from 10 am to 12 pm at the White Cloud Mennonite Church with FUNERAL SERVICES at 12:00 pm at the church. INTERMENT : Amish Cemetery in White Cloud.
