Susan M. Jackson, age 69, of Hesperia passed away on Thursday, July 16, 2015, at her home with her loving family by her side. Susan was born on November 19, 1945, in White Cloud to Lloyd and Flora (Means) Slocum and married Calvin E. Jackson on April 15, 1978 in Hesperia. Susan had worked at Pentwater Wire and enjoyed flowers and gardening. Susan is survived by her devoted husband, Calvin; children, Aleica (Brian) Seabrook of White Cloud, Kelly (Art) Sitter of White Cloud, and Calvin (Tabby) Jackson Jr. of White Cloud; grandchildren, Scott Seabrook, Shelby Seabrook, Kaittye (Chuck) Oberski, Jessica (Larry) Bidelman, Hunter Jackson, Anyia Jackson, Sinder Jackson, and Bailee Jackson; great grandchildren, Koltyn and Collin Oberski; brothers and sisters, Richard (Burdett) Slocum of Holton, Mary Ellen (Art) Balcom of Hesperia, Sarah (Sally) Fuller of Big Rapids, Elliott Andrew (Margaret) Slocum of Fremont; many nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog and best friend Duke. She was preceded by her mother; father; brother, Lloyd Eugene Slocum; and moth-in-law, Fannie Jackson. Services were held on Monday, July 20, 2015, at the Crandell Funeral Homes in Fremont with interment in East Hesperia Cemetery.
