Susan J. Straub, age 69 of White Cloud, formerly of Holton, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, June 12, 2018. Susan was born on July 6, 1948 in Muskegon to Jack and Margaret (Cato) Green and later graduated from Holton High School in 1966. Susan has been a longtime resident of the White Cloud area where she owned and operated Bob's Party Store north of White Cloud for over 15 years. Susan also owned several rental properties in White Cloud and Baldwin. Susan was a member of the White Cloud Eagles, enjoyed metal detecting, gaming, fishing, two tracking, snow plowing in the winter and mowing her yard. Susan is survived by her fiancé of 12 years, Glen Miller of White Cloud; her son, Rene (Paula) Porter of Twin Lake; her mother, Margaret Green of Newaygo; 2 grandchildren; brother, Joe (Thelma) Green of Ohio; her sister, Jackie Martin of White Cloud; lifelong friend, Elaine Brooks of Bridgeton. Susan was preceded in death by her father, Jack Green. Following Susan's wishes private memorial services will be held later at the family home.
