Suzanne C. Cook age 59 of White Cloud, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, December 26, 2021 at her home. Suzanne was born on August 6, 1962 in Grant to Roland Leroy and Georgia (Mathews) Cook and graduated from White Cloud High School in 1980. Suzanne had worked as a cook and later retired as a custodian from the Ferris State University in Big Rapids and has been a lifelong resident of the area. Suzanne was an avid quilter and enjoyed sewing, was well known for her cooking abilities and had owned and operated Squires Restaurant at Hardy Dam for a period of time as well. Suzanne especially enjoyed following her grandchildren's sports and school activities. Suzanne is survived by her children, Brandon (Shaina Nester) Cook of Newaygo; Juliann (Curtis) Puffer of Fremont; Joseph (Kristi) Cook of White Cloud; her grandchildren, Allison Cook, Leland Birchfield, Camren Cook, Justin Cook, Aubrey Cook, Dylan Page, Bryliann Page, Rylee Puffer, Logan Puffer, Mason Puffer, Austin Cook, Elijah Cook, Elliott Cook, Brooklyn Cook; her mother, Georgia "Jodey" Burns of White Cloud; her sister, Lorayne (Vaughn) Bone of Evart; her brother, Greg Cook of White Cloud; her brother, Joe (Karrie) Burns of Stanton; several nieces and nephews. Suzanne was preceded in death by her father, Roland L. Cook; her stepfather, Frank Burns; her brothers, Steven Cook and Jeffrey Cook; her sister-in-law, Nancy Cook.
