Obituary

Tamara Tami L. King, age 48 of Newaygo, formerly of Spring Lake, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at her home. Tami was born on November 22, 1966 in Muskegon and later moved to Florida where she graduated from Jupiter High School in 1985. Tami met and later married James Jim King on August 19, 2000 in Bridgeton. Tami moved to the Newaygo area in January 2015 and had been a clerk in the deli at Plumbs Value-rite in Newaygo. Tami had also been an in-home daycare provider and had been a private house cleaner for several years. Tami enjoyed dolphins, dragonflies, scented candles, listening to music, playing video games, visiting with friends and family on facebook, reading, telling and sharing jokes, and spending time around a campfire. Tami would always be available for a cup of coffee with friends but especially treasured time spent with her family and grandchildren. Tami is survived by her husband, Jim of Newaygo; her sons Kristopher Gailfoil of Fremont; Zachary Gailfoil of Hart; Jeffery King of Muskegon; her grandchildern, Caytlyn Michelle and Emily Grace; her father, Timothy (Ada) Linderman of Fremont; her mother, Carol (Jerry) Johnson of Orlando, Florida; sisters, Kim (Gary) Hollister of Apopka, Florida; Kelly Venne of West Palm Beach, Florida; Amanda (Bill) Hicks of Holton; her brothers, Terry (Annmarie) Venne of Ocoee, Florida; Jason Toney of Muskegon; mother-in-law, Anita King; father-in-law, Richard King of New Era; brother-in-law, Jeff (Sandi) King of Pickford, Michigan; sister-in-law, Jody (Steve) McNeil of Spring Lake; several nieces and nephews. Celebration of life services will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2015 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Tami's parents home, Mr. and Mrs. Tim Linderman - 7620 W 104th Street Fremont. Friends may consider memorial contributions to the Tamara L. King Memorial Fund for a fund to be established later, c/o Crandell Funeral Home in lieu of flowers.
