Tammy Lynn Berens, age 54, of Virginia Beach, Virginia went home to be with the Lord following her long battle with cancer. Tammy was a long time resident of Fremont and a manager for Family Dollar in Fremont and Hart for many years. Tammy loved being outdoors, traveling, time with her friends, and cherished her family especially her grandchildren. Tammy is survived by her children, James (Renee) Johnson of Taipei, Taiwan, Thomas (Tiffany) Johnson of Lansing, and Samantha (David) Lennox of Virginia Beach, Virginia; grandchildren, Kayley, Rehlin, Lucy, and George; mother, Sandra Blanchard; brothers, Scott (Georgia) Blanchard of Leslie, Michigan and Randy (Crystal) Blanchard Jr. of Pleasant Lake, Michigan; step-children and step-grandchildren; and nieces and nephew. There will be a Celebration of Life Service for Tammy at 2 PM on Sunday, August 11, 2019, at the Crandell Funeral Home in Fremont with Pastor Tim Engelsman officiating. There will be a time to meet and share with the family prior to the service starting at noon. Memorial contributions may be made to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
