Tanya Ann Montegna-Butler, age 52 of Hesperia, passed away Thursday, May 17, 2012 at the Spectrum Health Butterworth Campus in Grand Rapids following a short illness. Tanya was born on January 8, 1960 in Fremont to Bruce and Kathleen (Clark) Lindsay. Tanya moved with her family to Hampton, Virginia in 1975 and graduated from Bethel High School in 1978. She later moved back to the Hesperia area in 1998 where she was currently working at the Dura Corporation in Fremont as a mold press operator and had been a quality technician. Tanya had been the Chief Union Steward at Dura, loved her dog and cat and had a love of angels of which she is now one. Tanya always enjoyed helping people whenever there was a need. Tanya especially enjoyed her family and spending time with her grandchildren. Tanya is survived by her sons, Lorance Tony (Chrystal) Butler of Newaygo; Jason (Danielle) Butler of Hesperia; her mother and father, Bruce & Kathleen Lindsay of Hesperia; her grandchildren, Anthony Butler, Garrett Butler, and Daniel Butler; her step grandson, Zachary Fisher; several aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her infant brother, Todd J. Lindsay in 1961; her grandparents, Lorne and Millie Lindsay and Earl and Marie Clark. VISITATION : Sunday, May 20, 2012 from 2-5pm at Crandell Funeral Home Fremont Chapel. FUNERAL SERVICES : Monday, May 21, 2012 at 11am at the Crandell Funeral Home Fremont Chapel.
