It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the untimely passing of our beloved daughter, mother, sister, and friend, TEANA NICOLE LIESCHEIDT. She departed from this world far too soon on June, 9, 2023 in Toledo, Ohio. Born in Fremont, Michigan on May 22, 1993 to Kelly Jean Heemstra, she was later adopted by Duane and Barb Liescheidt. Teana was a force to be reckoned with from day one. She had a fiery spirit and was known for her spicy personality and larger than life attitude. Laughter was her superpower. She had a contagious laugh with a quick wit and keen sense of humor. Teana attended White Cloud Public Schools before moving to New York. She loved to travel and explore new places. She had a great love for music and her favorites were rap, R&B and gospel. One of her favorite past times was cooking and she made a mean homemade mac and cheese. Teana is survived by her birth mom, Kelly (Alex) Bowman, her parents, Duane and Barb Liescheidt, her daughters, Jakiah Clarke and Jaelyn Clarke and their adoptive mom LaKisha Toland (Teana's God mother), her siblings Christopher (Jen) Liescheidt, Tracey (Greg) Oosterhouse, Melissa (Chris) Price, Preston Liescheidt, Shanae Liescheidt, Emily (Derek Duncan) Liescheidt, Wylie Bowman III, Christian Bowman, Zaliyah Bowman, and many cherished nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Ila Page, William Liescheidt, and Lorita Fernanders. There will be a Celebration of Life for Teana on July 29, 2023, 1:00 p.m. at the St. Joseph Catholic Hall in White Cloud. A luncheon will follow. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Teana's memory to help with specific expenses, with the remainder going to a special fund for Jakiah and Jaelyn.. As we mourn the loss of our dear Teana, we find solace in the memories we shared. She will be deeply missed, but her legacy of love, strength and laughter will be with us forever.
