Teresa Ann Purcell-Korkoskie, age 48 of Fremont, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, July 20, 2017 at her home following an aggressive bout with cancer. Teresa was born on November 7, 1968 in Fremont to Stanley and Catherine (Gee) Purcell and has been a lifelong resident of the Fremont area. Teresa graduated from Loomis School and had been a member of the First Baptist Church in Fremont. Teresa had been a caregiver and homemaker and truly loved to take care of her family. Teresa enjoyed crocheting, visiting with family and friends on the phone, listening to music, writing, painting and family gatherings.

Teresa is survived by her husband, Lyle "Russ" Korkoskie of Fremont; her children, Rachael Bailor of White Cloud; Amanda (Jacob) Chupp of Holton; Emily Korkoskie of Fremont; Michael Korkoskie of Fremont; her mother, Catherine Purcell of Fremont; her grandchildren, Jacob, Kane, and Karma; her brothers and sisters, Timothy Purcell of North Muskegon; Phillip Purcell of Fremont; Pamela (Steve) Purcell-Purdy of Fremont; sister-in-law, Melissa (Ray) Smith; nieces and nephews, Timothy (Shannon), Matthew, Kaely; Tyler, John and Connor; Sienna; Raymond and Eric; great niece, Shyanne and great nephew, Levi; many aunts and uncles. Teresa was preceded in death by her grandson, Emmett; her father, Stanley Conrad Purcell on October 13, 2011; her nieces, Amber Nicole and Katy Gould.

VISITATION : Thursday, July 27, 2017 from 11-1pm at the First Baptist Church 51 W. Oak Street Fremont, Michigan 49412. FUNERAL SERVICES : Teresa has requested family and friends to wear casual clothing to the funeral services and T-shirts would be preferred.
