Thelma E. Eyer, age 90 of White Cloud, passed away Tuesday, September 16, 2008 at the Newaygo Medical Care Facility in Fremont. Thelma was born on February 5, 1918 in DuPont, Ohio to Cleve and Claire (Miller) Adams and later met and married Wilbur Eyer Sr. on August 1, 1936 in Kalida, Ohio. Wilbur preceded her in death on December 11, 1991. Thelma moved to the White Cloud area in 1956 where she was a homemaker and enjoyed her family, friends, crafts, sewing, flower gardening and was an avid reader. Thelma was an active member of the Big Prairie Community Church where she taught Sunday school for over 40 years and served as Ladies Fellowship President for several years and on various church committees. She is survived by her children, Will (Barb) Eyer of Leslie, Michigan; Lanny (Linda) Eyer of Standish, Michigan; Nancy (Len) Harper Sr. of Newaygo; Steve (Sally) Eyer of Cass City, Michigan; 9 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; her sister, Evelyn (Bud) Scott of VanWert, Ohio. She was preceded in death by a sister, Rachel Wannamaker and brother, Delmar Adams. VISITATION: Friday, Sept. 19, 2008 from 1-2pm at the Big Prairie Community Church. FUNERAL SERVICES : 2pm at the church. INTERMENT : Big Prairie Everett Township Cemetery. MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS : White Cloud Community Library Building Fund or Big Prairie Community Church.
