Theodore S. Duquette, age 79 of Fremont, passed away Friday, June 11, 2004 at his home. Ted was born on February 5, 1925 in Detroit to Edward Joseph and Cleo Lucille (Sawyer) Duquette and married Patricia A. Moore on August 13, 1985 in White Cloud. He served in the United States Marine Corps during World War II where he received a Bronze Star. He later joined the United States Army where he served for 23 years and was raised to the rank of Command Sergeant Major until his retirement from the United States Army in 1964. He had been an appraiser in the construction industry and later served as the assessor for the City of Fremont for several years. He was a member of the Detroit Building Trades Council; the Carpenters Union; member of the Twin Lake Gun Club and the Holton Venturous Shooters Gun Club. He enjoyed woodworking, hunting and fishing and enjoyed the outdoors. He is survived by his wife, Patricia of Fremont; his children, Kathleen Duquette of Dearborn; Donna Duquette of Silver Spring, Maryland; his son, Edward Duquette of Redford, Michigan. Military Funeral Rites were given at the Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Virginia where inurnment will take place following cremation.
