Theresa Marie (Chapin) Thompson, age 65 of Wyoming, walked on to her heavenly home on Monday, September 8, 2014 with her family by her side. Theresa was born on June 22, 1949 in White Cloud and raised by her parents Shirley and Russell Girard. She had worked at Richards Quality Bedding in Grand Rapids and was a member of the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians. Theresa enjoyed Yahtzee and card games, puzzles and hot tea, and watching Tiger baseball. Theresa is survived by her children, Brian (Ualina) Wellman of White Cloud, Chad (Jennifer) Wellman of Stanwood, Ruben (Renee) Turner of Hesperia, and Michelle (Doug) Middlebos of Wayland; 11 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Clifford (Arlene) Monroe of Grant, Jim (Kathy) Chapin of Jenison, Linda (Randy) Almas of Morley, Margaret (John) Dell of Grand Rapids, Mona Monroe of Wyoming, and Dawn Monroe of Wyoming; and many nieces and nephews. Theresa was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Michael Chapin. Funeral services will be held at 1 PM on Friday, September 12, 2014, at the Crandell Funeral Homes in White Cloud with visitation 2 hours prior to the service (11AM 1PM).
