Theresa May Wambaugh passed away peacefully on September 20, 2026, with her children by her side.

Theresa was a woman with a heart bigger than life. She loved and accepted everyone who crossed her path, always making those around her feel welcomed and loved. She had an incredible affinity for living life to the fullest and had a way of brightening every room she entered with her beautiful smile, goofy personality, and unforgettable sense of humor. With Theresa, you never quite knew what she would say or do.

She was a woman of immense strength, courage, and positivity, no matter what life placed before her. Through every challenge, Theresa continued to find reasons to smile and ways to bring light to others.

Her Bible was a source of comfort, peace, and strength. Theresa sought to live with the humble and loving heart she found in its pages, striving to reflect her faith in the way she loved and cared for others.

Theresa is survived by: her children, Louis (Maddi) Gagnon and Jessica (Jon) Snider; grandchildren, Wesley, Alexis and Gaven; siblings, nieces, nephews, and many other extended family members.

In lie of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in Theresa’s honor.

In accordance with Theresa’s wishes, cremation has taken place and the family will hold services privately.
