Thomas Charles Brock, Jr., 60, of Newaygo, MI, passed away on Sunday, September 1st, 2024. He was born on Saturday, February 15th, 1964 in Grand Rapids, Michigan to the late Thomas C. Brock, Sr. and Linda M. Brock. On April 21, 1984 Tom married the love of his life; Bevan and together had many memories shared throughout the last 40 years.
Tom was a dedicated truck driver and served as the Chief of the Big Prairie-Goodwill Fire Department for 40 years before retiring which was the center of his life. He had a passion for hunting, fishing, camping, and visiting the casino. Thomas was known for making friends wherever he went and was a loyal University of Michigan football fan.
He is survived by his loving wife, Bevan Brock, children Craig (Stacey) McQueen and Robert McQueen, grandchildren Branden McQueen, Brittany McQueen, and Kylah McQueen, sisters Cindy (Kelly) Donat and Mary (Rodney) Guiles, and many nieces and nephews. Tom is preceded in death by his parents Thomas C. Brock, Sr. and Linda M. Brock.
Visitation will be held at Crandell Funeral Home Inc in White Cloud, MI on Friday, September 6th, 2024 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm and at Resonate Church in Newaygo, MI on Saturday, September 7th, 2024 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. A funeral service will follow at Resonate Church at 11:00 am, with a luncheon immediately after the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Michigan Firemen's Memorial (9001 Miller Road, Suite 10, Swartz Creek, MI 48473) in honor of Tom.
