Thomas B. Cloft, age 70, of Alpena, passed away on Sunday, June 10, 2012, at his daughters home in Hesperia. Tom was born on April 11, 1942, in Alpena to Bernard and Audrey (Kennedy) Cloft and has been a life long resident of the area and retired from Fletcher Paper Company in Alpena. Tom enjoyed hunting and fishing and accompanying his son to smallbore rifle matches. He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #571 and V.F.W. Post #3890 in Alpena. Tom was a member of the First Assembly Of God in Alpena. Thomas is survived by his children, Tamara (Mark) Baskin of Hesperia and David (Susan) Cloft of Vine Grove, Kentucky; 3 grandchildren, Nathan Cloft, Tyler Cloft, and Zachary Cloft; sister and brother, Barbara (Thomas) Murphy of Comins, MI, and Brian Gus (Shari) Cloft of Alpena; many special nieces and Nephews; and many special friends. He was preceded in death by one infant son, John Thomas Cloft and sister, Carol Sue Schuler. There will be a memorial Service scheduled in Alpena at a later time.
