DeVanney, Thomas V. Thomas Vincent DeVanney, age 66 of Fremont , passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, December 15, 2003 . Tom was born on June 12, 1937 in Chicago , Illinois to Louis Ceallaigh and Kaliksta Lukas (Lukszys) DeVanney and married Hazel M. LeBaron on June 21, 1958 at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Muskegon . Hazel preceded him in death on May 22, 2003 . He has been a resident of the Fremont area since 1967 when he moved from Muskegon . Tom had been a Design and Quality Metrology Engineer for Howmet, Teledyne Continental, and Johnson Technology for several years until his retirement. He was a member of the All Saints Catholic Church in Fremont, former member of the Knights of Columbus at the All Saints Catholic Church, was a member of the White Cloud Eagles, Aerie Post # 4170 and enjoyed reading and watching old movies. He is survived by his children, Toni DeVanney of Fremont; Cindy Vaughn of Fremont; Sue (Dan) DeVanney-Booker of Fremont; granddaughters, Danielle Vaughn; Morgan DeVanney Medd; step grandsons, D.J. Booker; Steven Booker, and Joey Booker all of Fremont; special friends of the family, Margaret Ireland of Grand Haven; Christine Gerdes of Fremont; Calvin & Lucinda Bannen and Boys of Lakeview; brothers and sisters-in-law, Joyce (Jim) Ekkel of Whitehall; Roseanna (Herb) Huntley of Muskegon; Frank (Dee) LeBaron of Muskegon; Bill (Elva) LeBaron of Muskegon; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Hazel M. DeVanney on May 22, 2003 ; his parents, Louis and Kalista; and mother and father-in-law, Helen and William LeBaron. Mass of Christian Burial was held on Friday, December 19, 2003 from the All Saints Catholic Church with Rev. Father Anthony Russo presiding. Friends are asked to consider the Thomas V.
