Thomas R. Skowronski, age 54 of Twin Lake, passed away Monday at the Mercy General Health Partners-Sherman Campus in Muskegon. Tom was born on November 21, 1957 in Grand Rapids to Richard and Leonore Norrie (Myszak) Skowronski. Tom later married Emily Jean Walma on March 11, 1988 in Allegan. Emily preceded him in death on Aug. 30, 2002. Tom had been a residential contractor for several years and was a member of the St. Michaels Catholic Church in Brunswick. Tom was an avid Minnesota Vikings fan and attended many of their home games. Tom enjoyed cooking and had volunteered his time as a cook at the St. Michaels Catholic School in Brunswick. Tom also had enjoyed skiing, drawing and gardening in his younger years. SURVIVORS : his son, Broderick Skowronski of Twin Lake; his parents, Richard & Norrie Skowronski of Newaygo; his brothers, Steven Skowronski of Sparta; John (Amy) Skowronski of Grand Rapids; his sister, Mary Beth (Jerry) Berndt of Dorr; several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. VISITATION : Thursday, Dec. 29, 2011 from 5-8pm at Crandell Funeral Home Fremont Chapel with SCRIPTURE SERVICES at 7:30pm. MASS OF RESSURECTION: Friday, Dec. 30, 2011 at 11am at the St. Michaels Catholic Church in Brunswick. INTERMENT : St. Michaels Catholic Cemetery. PLEASE NOTE : 9am Mass on Friday at St. Michaels Catholic Church will be postponed until 11am.
