Obituary

Thomas F. Stopczynski, age 49, of Ferry, passed away on Friday, July 2, 2010, at his home following a long battle with cancer. Tom was born on August 21, 1960, in Highland Park, MI, to Stephen L. and Arlene (Piszcz) Stopczynski and was a supervisor at Carlton Creek Ironworks LLC in Rothbury. Tom married Deborah Warzak on November 4, 1978, and was a member of Local#421. Tom enjoyed hunting, fishing, and especially spending time with his grandchildren. Tom is survived by his wife, Deborah of Ferry; children, Bambi (Justin Culp) Stopczynski of Hesperia, Darrick (Krista) Stopczynski of Muskegon, and Jeremy (Rachel) Stopczynski of Hesperia; grandchildren Dustin, Kyle, Tristan, Tommy, Collin, Dillin, Alayna; mother, Arlene Stopczynski of Baldwin; brother and sisters, Kenneth (Sally) Stopczynski of Idaho, Patricia Stopczynski of Baldwin, Victoria (Robert) Newell of Shelby, Constance (Bradley) Crawford of Paris, MI., and Jacqueline (Al) Somero of Frederic, MI.; and many nieces and nephews. The Rite of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM, on Tuesday, July 6, 2010, at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in White Cloud. Visitation will be at the Crandell Funeral Home in White Cloud on Monday evening from 6-8 PM and then again on Tuesday 1 hour prior to the Mass. Interment will be in St Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
