Thomas Henry Theile Sr., of Hesperia, age 78 passed away on January 29, 2025 at the Cottages of Martin Lake. He was born in Muskegon on October 25 th , 1946 to Roderick and Helen (Carpenter) Theile. On August 24, 1985 Tom married Lynda on the family farm in Hesperia. Tom was employed by Consumers Energy of Muskegon and Fremont, as a lineman, prior to his retirement in 2005. He enjoyed playing a variety of sports even into his adult life and had a passion for horses and mules. He was a member of Muskegon County Sheriff Posse, Sunrise Side Antique Tractor Club, West Michigan Draft Horse Association, Mule Club. He enjoyed riding, driving, and sharing his knowledge and experience with others. In Tom's retirement years, he and Lynda spend many winters at McCulley's Farm in Jasper, FL and at their cabin in Whitley City, KY. Tom loved his family and friends and enjoyed spending time with them. He is survived by his wife, Lynda of 39 years, 2 sons, Thomas Theile, Jr. (Cara), and Jason Theile, 3 daughters, Mieka Rueger, Donnita Edwards (Tony), and Darcia Emerson Anderson, sister Deb Huggins (Steve) and 11 grandchildren. Tom was proceeded in death by his mother, Helen (Carpenter) Theile, father Roderick Theile, and older sister, Darlene Pikkart. To honor his wishes, there will be no visitation or any type of service.
