Tim L. Epplett, age 58, of Holton passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2013 at Spectrum Health Services- Butterworth Campus in Grand Rapids. Tim was born on July 24, 1955 in Grand Haven to Gilbert L. and Eva M. (Bailey) Epplett and married Lois Elaine Irwin on February 2, 1974 in Maple Island. Tim owned and operated Shift N Go Transmission in Brunswick and was a driver and fan at Winston Speedway and other local race tracks in the area. Tim enjoyed camping and the outdoors and especially liked spending time with his grandchildren. Tim is survived by his loving wife, Lois; children, Jonathan (Beckee) Epplett and their children Bradlee, Brandonlee, and Brytnee, and Jaimi (Michael) Sullivan and their children Joshua, Bethanie, Dylan, Conor, and Ethan Sullivan; mother, Eva Christopher; brothers and sister, Thomas (Carol) Epplett, Andrew Epplett, Kandy (David) Miller, and Gregory (Sue) Epplett; sisters-in-law, Karen (John) Felix, Sharon Irwin, Susan (Howard) Gilbert, and Janey (David) Paprocki; brothers-in-law, William (Helene) Irwin, Gerald (Michelle) Irwin and Robert (Diana) Irwin; numerous aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, and cousins. Tim was preceded by his father Gilbert. Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 1, 2013 from 5-8 PM at the Crandell Funeral Home in Fremont. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11AM at the funeral home with Rev. Carl Black officiating.
