Timothy L. Nyreen, age 67 of White Cloud, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, August 5, 2021 at his home. Tim was born on January 15, 1954 in San Diego, California to Donald and Rosalie (Wright) Nyreen and met his wife, Janet (Griffith) in a horse barn and they were later married on July 13, 1974 in Grand Rapids. Tim served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam era until his honorable discharge. Tim had been a horse Ferrier for many years in the West Michigan area until his retirement. Tim and Janet built their home in White Cloud after their retirement and Tim enjoyed fishing, driving his "razor" on his property, working on cars, raising horses and especially loved Christmas and dressing as Santa for his family and the neighborhood families. Tim is survived by his wife, of 47 years, Janet; his son, Aaron (Kim) Nyreen of Grand Rapids; his daughter, Courtney (Jon) Koch of Cumming, Georgia; his grandchildren, Connor, Ashley, Andrew; step grandchildren, Kiley and Brittany; his sisters and brother, Debbie Brooks, Lisa Benedict, Cecil Nyreen, Theresa Long. Tim was preceded in death by his mother, Rosalie Benedict and by his father, Donald Nyreen. Following Tim's wishes, a private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date following cremation.
