Timothy John Saum, age 44 of Fremont, passed away Friday, March 18, 2005 at his home following a short illness. Tim was born on October 22, 1960 in Fremont to Jacob J. and Karlene (Odell) Saum and graduated from Fremont High School in 1979. He had worked in the maintenance department at Howmet Corporation in Whitehall and was affiliated with the All Saints Catholic Church. Tim was an avid outdoorsman where he enjoyed trout fishing and was an avid deer hunter with both gun and bow. He was an excellent cook, enjoyed building race cars for dirt track racing. He is survived by his parents, Jacob and Karlene Saum of Fremont; his daughter, Shannon Saum of Ferrysburg; special friend, Jim Hill of Holton. Funeral services were held on Monday, March 28, 2005 at Crandell Funeral Home Fremont Chapel with Rev. Father Tony Russo of the All Saints Catholic Church presiding with visitation from 5-7pm at the Crandell Funeral Home.
