Timothy W. Walsworth, age 53 of Holton, passed away Thursday, September 26, 2013 at the Spectrum Health Butterworth Campus in Grand Rapids. Tim was born on October 17, 1959 in Albany, Georgia to Wayne L. and Janice I. (Mayo) Walsworth and later graduated from Holton High School in 1978. In his younger years, Tim had enjoyed farming and being in the Michigan outdoors. Tim also enjoyed visiting with family and friends, all types of sports and following the Detroit Tigers. He attended the Holton United Methodist Church. Tim is survived by his children, Cortnie Walsworth (significant other, Justin) and her son, Anthony Workman of Holton; Kimberly Walker and her daughter, Mya Walker of Hesperia; Ryan Walsworth of Holton; his sister, Louise (David) Stitt of Holton; his nephew, David (Katie) Stitt of Holton; his niece, Janice Stitt of Holton; many supportive aunts and uncles. Tim was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Janice. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, October 4, 2013 at 12pm with a time of visitation from 10-12 at the Holton United Methodist Church. Interment will take place in the Oakwood Cemetery in Holton. Friends may consider memorial contributions to the Holton Community Center in memory of Tim.
