Tina Nichols, age 92, of Punta Gorda, Florida, and formerly of Holton (Bobs Barn), passed away on Thursday, March 19, 2009, at Life Care Center in Punta Gorda. Tina was born on August 1, 1916, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Edward and Mary Ann (Wrobel) Swierczynski and married Robert Calvin Nichols on September 29, 1930, in Waukegan, Illinois. Tina had worked as a nurses aid in the Fremont area for many years. Tina is survived by her children, Robert C. (Joan) Nichols Jr. of Florida, Richard Dick A. Nichols of Florida, Barbara Ann (Jerry) Teal of Hesperia, and Ronald J. Nichols of Holton; 6 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert in 1985; son, Roger in 1968; and grandson, Jared in 1998. Visitation was held on Wednesday March 25, from 6 8 pm at the Crandell Funeral Home Chapel in Fremont. A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Thursday, April 2, 2009, at 11 am from the St. Michaels Catholic Church in Brunswick with interment following in St. Michaels Catholic Cemetery.
