Todd Henry DeVisser, age 58, of Mt. Pleasant, Michigan, formerly of Fremont, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 26, 2023, in Mt. Pleasant. Todd was born on November 6, 1964, in Fremont and graduated from Fremont High School in 1983. Todd later attended Central Michigan University where he was the backup kicker for the football team. Todd joined the United States Air Force, where he served 10 years, until his honorable discharge in September 1998. He then returned to Michigan and settled in Mt. Pleasant. Todd had worked as a cashier at the Soaring Eagle Casino for over 15 years. He was a sports enthusiast; he followed the Detroit Lions, Detroit Tigers, and the Detroit Red Wings. He was a U of M and Chicago Cubs fan. Todd ran a fantasy football league for many years. He enjoyed playing card and board games. He was always up for a game of Wahoo or Yahtzee with his family. He was a history buff and enjoyed collecting sports news articles, as well as memorabilia. Todd is survived by his children, Nicole (Matt) Michanowicz of Wyoming, Michigan; Sean DeVisser (Devon Hernandez) of Muskegon, Michigan; Patrick DeVisser of Wyoming, Michigan; his grandchildren, Brantley Pierce, and Braxton DeVisser; several cousins. Todd was preceded in death by his mother, Lorraine DeVisser; and granddaughter, Addison DeVisser.
