Tony Kosla, age 68 of Newaygo, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, June 3, 2001 at the Gerber Memorial Health Services in Fremont. He was born on June 23, 1933 in White Cloud to Stanley and Francis (Dudeck) Kosla and has been a lifelong resident of the Newaygo County Area. He was a member of St. Bartholomew Catholic Church in Newaygo. He is survived by his brothers and sisters, John (Margaret) Kosla of White Cloud; Joe (June) Kosla of White Cloud; Helen (Bob) Windver of California; Rose Skipper of Grand Rapids; Josie (Mike) Detmers of Grand Rapids; Ed (Penny) Kosla of White Cloud; Anna Kosla of Grand Rapids; many nieces and nephews. Funeral memorial services were held on Thursday, June 7, 2001 at 9:30am from the Crandell Funeral Home Chapel in White Cloud with Rev. Father Richard VanLente of the St. Joseph Catholic Church presiding with interment in the Big Prairie Everett Township Cemetery.
