It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Troy Alan Underhill of White Cloud, MI. on April 12, 2025, following a short illness.

He was born on August 28, 1978, in Fremont.  Troy lived in White Cloud area, graduating in 1996.   Troy was the most amazing person to his family and was definitely a friend to all.  When he passed, a huge hole was left in the hearts of his family and so many friends as well.  The pain is immeasurable, but having to endure this pain is worth the many years people spent with him.

He is lovingly survived by his parents, Martha (Johnson) and Joseph Underhill, and his brother, Chad.  Also, his aunt & uncle, Deb (Underhill) and Don Stone; his aunt & uncle, Diane (Underhill) and Larry Timmerman; aunt & uncle, Vicki (Johnson) and Bob Burke; aunt & uncle, Wendy (Johnson) and Gary Miller; and numerous cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, William and Dorothy Underhill; grandparents, Victor & Jean Johnson; his uncle, James Underhill; and uncle, Mike Underhill.

After graduation Troy went to Ferris State University.  Then worked at Gerber Life.  Later he worked as an independent contractor.  His hobbies were football, golfing, fishing, camping and disc golf.  He also loved being with his friends, trips on the river cruising on the pontoon; many excursions with the side-by-sides, snowmobiles, and motorcycles; always with his group of close and loyal friends.  Troy was one to always help anyone in need with a smile on his face and will be dearly missed and forever remembered.

May his soul find eternal peace, and may his memory be a blessing to all who were fortunate to know him.

Arrangements for a Celebration of Life will be held at ResLife Church in Big Rapids on Thursday, May 1,2025.  Visitation will be at 10:00 am with the Memorial Service at 11:00 am, and luncheon following.

Our family is immensely grateful for the love and comfort shared by family and friends during this difficult time.
