Velma Rosa Mollett, age 91of Fremont, passed away Sunday, November 07, 2004 at the Newaygo Medical Care Facility in Fremont. She was born on July 30, 1913 in Belzonia, Mississippi to DeWitt and Frances R. (Davis) Dismuke and later married Nelson Mollett on July 24, 1948 in White Cloud. Nelson preceded her in death on May 30, 1990. She had been a production worker at Gerber Products Company in Fremont until her retirement in 1961 and was a member of the Fremont United Methodist Church. She is survived by her daughter, Nancy (Cleo) Warner of Fremont; her sons, DeWitt (Barb) Toensing of Toledo, Ohio; Elmer (Lois) Toensing of Woodville, Ohio; her step son, Ronald Mollett of Fremont; 11 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; her sister, Polly Iker of Fremont; Margaret Mollett; Nellie Miner of Toledo, Ohio; her brother, Elmer Dismuke of Newberry, Michigan. Private services were held at a later date following cremation. Memorial contributions may be made to Fremont United Methodist Church in memory of Velma.
