Vera Ruth Schuyler passed away with peace and grace on November 3, 2016, in Wentzville, Missouri, at 94 years young. Vera was born and raised in Shelby, Michigan, and married Elwin on July 29, 1942. She was predeceased by her loving husband Elwin Schuyler Sr. in 1999. She moved to Fremont as a young woman and began her career with Gerber Products Company, retiring in December 1980 after 34 years of service. Vera's favorite hobbies included knitting, crocheting, quilt making and camping in their RV. Vera moved to Missouri to be closer to her family in 2005, where she remained until her death.

Vera is survived by son, Butch (Linda) Schuyler of Wentzville, Missouri; grandson, Scott (Monica) Schuyler of Godfrey, Illinois; granddaughter, Kelly Schuyler of Liberty, Missouri; and her great-grandchildren, Matthew, Caleb, Nathaniel, and Miranda.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 22, 2016, from 4 - 7 PM at the Crandell Funeral Home in Fremont with graveside services at 11 AM on Wednesday November 23, 2016, at Maple Grove Cemetery in Fremont. It is recommended, in lieu of flowers, a donation to Hospice for all the great work they do every day c/o SSM Health at Home Hospice #2 Harbor Bend Court, Suite 201 Lake Saint Louis, Missouri 63367.
