Violet Jessie Frehr, age 75 of Grant, formerly of Crivitz, Wisconsin, passed away Friday, July 11, 2014 at her home following a lingering illnesss. Violet was born on January 13, 1939 in Porterfield, Wisconsin to Carl and Lillian (Hust) Fleishchfresser and later married Joseph Frehr on March 27, 1975 in Crivitz. Violet had been a truck driver with her husband Joseph for many years and became a homemaker. Violet was a member of the River Valley Community Church in Newaygo and enjoyed reading, and crossword puzzles. Violet is survived by her husband, Joseph of Grant; her children, Frank (Mary) Frehr of Marinette, Wisconsin; Debbie Frehr (significant other, Gregg) of Watertown, Wisconsin; Lindy (Katrina) Frehr of Crivitz, Wisconsin; John (Anna) Frehr of Grant; 12 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; her sister and brothers, Carl Junior Fleishchfresser of Porterfield, Wisconsin; Arnie Fleishchfresser of Porterfield, Wisconsin; Dwayne Woods of Marinette, Wisconsin; David Fleishchfresser of Peshtigo, Wisconsin; Beverly (Fred) LaPiniski of Crivitz, Wisconsin; Dick Fleishchfresser of Peshtigo, Wisconsin; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Rosemary Deasetell. Memorial services will be held at the Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home in Crivitz, Wisconsin following cremation.
