Virginia B. Frantz, age 65 of White Cloud, passed away Saturday, March 8, 2003 at the Home of Hope in Grand Rapids. Virginia was born on August 8, 1937 in Stanwood, Michigan to Arthur and Katherine (Marek) Conners and married Francis "Sony" Frantz on June 16, 1962 in White Cloud. She had worked at the Dura Automotive Company as a production worker in White Cloud until her retirement and enjoyed gardening, baking bread and her cat, Willie. Virginia is survived by her husband of 41 years, Francis "Sony" Frantz of White Cloud; her sisters and brothers, Lucille Aris of Big Rapids; Martha (Earl) Smith of Wyoming, Michigan; Richard (Jeannine) Conners of Stanwood; Kay (Robert) Corlew of Newaygo; Violet (Harold) Bucholtz of Marion, Michigan; Danny (Joyce) Conners of Lake, Michigan; her mother-in-law, Gladys Frantz of White Cloud; 22 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 1 sister and 2 brothers. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, March 11, 2003 from the Crandell Funeral Home White Cloud Chapel with Rev. Arnold Guikema presiding with interment in the Big Prairie Everett Township Cemetery. Friends may consider Hospice of Michigan for Home of Hope for memorial contributions.
