Virginia Jean Mitrius, age 82 of White Cloud passed away Saturday, March 3, 2012, at home with her family by her side. Jean was born on December 14, 1929 in Joliet, Illinois, to Walter and Sofie (Szepelak) Lewandowski and married Paul Mitrius on April 29, 1950, in Joliet. Jean had been a retail clerk and enjoyed dancing, cooking for her family, and antiquing. Jean is survived by her children, Elen Marie Mitrius of White Cloud and Patrick Paul Mitrius of Joliet; and sister-in-law, Joyce Lewandowski of Joliet. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul in 2002; brother, Clem Lewandowski; and sister Ceil Pasternak. There will be no services for Jean at this time.
