Doll Cunningham, age 78, of Hesperia passed away on Tuesday, December 9, at her home with her family by her side. Doll was born on August 19, 1930, in Holton to William and Neva (Homan) Syers. She married Willard Cunningham in Hesperia on February 20, 1964, and was a member of the Hesperia American Legion Auxiliary. Doll is survived by her husband Willard; children Kenneth Randy (Beth) Follett of Freesoil, Roger (Dee) Follett of Hesperia, Peg (Tom) Jensen of Blair, Nebraska, Bill (April) Cunningham of Hesperia, Julie Ann (Al) Purdy of Hesperia, and John (Linda) Cunningham of Hesperia; sisters, Jean Johnson of Hesperia and Barbara Richards of Holton; 32 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son Richard Lee Follett and her sister Frances Playter. A reception to honor Dolls Life was held at the Hesperia American Legion on Thursday, December 18, 2008, at 1 PM.
