Walter Leroy Bush, age 78, of Hesperia went home to be with his Lord on Thursday, November 6, 2014, at Mercy Health Partners Mercy Sherman Campus. Walter was born on March 22, 1936, in Hesperia and married Dorothy Phillips in 1956 in Shelby. Walter owned and operated his logging business in the Hesperia area most of his life. He loved being outdoors, hunting, and fishing, and was a strong supporter of Hesperia High School sports, especially wrestling. Walter is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy; children, Walter Joseph (Donna) Bush of Hesperia, and Mary Lou (Jeff) Replogle of Hesperia; grandchildren, Joedy (Rick) Peterson, Paul (Kathy) Clark, Josh Bush, Ryan Bush, Jessie Wells, and Jake Ingalls; great-grandchildren, Caleb, Catherine, Brandon, Kirsten, Maddy, Rowan, Lexi, and Hayden. He was preceded in death by his son Douglas L. Creature Bush on May 4, 2009. A celebration of Walters life will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2014, from 2 5 PM at the Hesperia American Legion Post. Interment will be in West Hesperia Cemetery.
