Dunlap, Walter L. Walter L. Dunlap passed away unexpectedly on April 25, 2003 at the Spectrum Health Blodgett Campus. Walter was born on August 16, 1932 in Grand Rapids and later married Dolores Braybrook on September 5, 1953 . He retired from the Unites States Air Force where he was a Tech Sergeant where he had served for 20 years. He was a Past Commander of the United States Power Squadron Grand Rapids Chapter and was a current member of the Grand Valley Orchid Society. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Dolores; his daughters, Laurie Dunlap of Grant; Cindy Vanderberg of Grant and Teresa (Howie) Stillson of Fruitport; 2 granddaughters Riley Ann and Raechel Marie Vanderberg; 2 grandsons, Robert and Jacob Stillson. He was preceded in death by his mother, Alice Grace Dunlap on June 13, 2002 and his father Vernon K. Dunlap on January 21, 1982 . Memorial services were held on May 1, 2003 at Crandell Funeral Home Fremont Chapel with Celebrant Curt A. Crandell presiding.
