Wanda F. Kozicki, age 93 of Fremont, passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2020 at the Spectrum Health Gerber Memorial Health Services in Fremont. Wanda was born on February 2, 1927 in Muskegon to Frank and Mary (Raczkiewicz) Kufta and later married Joseph Kozicki on October 7, 1950 in Muskegon. Joseph preceded her in death on November 14, 2009. Wanda moved to the Fremont area in 1995 from Spring Lake and was a member of the St. Bartholomew Catholic Church in Newaygo. Wanda had been a telephone operator for Michigan Bell Telephone in Spring Lake until her retirement and enjoyed collecting antiques, quilting, crafts and riding her bicycle. Wanda is survived by her sons, John Kozicki of Fremont; Michael Kozicki of Grand Rapids; her grandsons, Bill and Andy Kozicki; her sister, Theresa Parkanzky of Vanwert, Ohio; several nieces and nephews. Wanda was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph; her daughter, Ann Kozicki on February 18, 2011 and by her sister, Irene Mastee. Funeral Memorial Mass Services are being planned at the St. Bartholomew Catholic Church in Newaygo with the dates and times to be announced later.
