Wanda M. VanderMolen, age 62, of Fremont was called home to be with her Savior on Sunday, November 24, 2013. Wanda was born on March 8, 1951, in Grand Rapids to Raymond and Verna (McCarty) Bekkering and married Raymond VanderMolen on June 14, 1969 in Byron Center. Wanda enjoyed working in her yard and spending time with their horses. Wanda is survived by her devoted husband Ray; children, Holly (Toby) Wight of Bridgeton, Timothy (Libby) VanderMolen of Fremont, and Ralynn VanderMolen of Fremont; 5 grandchildren, Autumn, Austin, Trenton, Sophia, and Lillian; brothers and sisters, James Bekkering of Byron Center, Mary (Adrian) Potter of Dorr, Judy Mulligan of Dorr, Verla (Larry) Issenhoff of Byron Center, Christopher Bekkering of Dorr, and Timothy (Dawn) Bekkering of Dorr. Services will be held at 1 PM on Saturday, November 30, 2013 at the Crandell Funeral Home in Fremont with Sr. Pastor Larry Haney from the Carpenters House Outreach Church officiating. There will be a visitation time from 12 noon until the time of the service. Interment will be in Sherman Township Cemetery. For a more lasting memorial, friends are asked to consider Harbor Hospice.
