October 9, 1928 – November 14, 2012
Warren Alfred Spaulding "Al" passed peacefully into the arms of his Lord and Savior, following a short illness on Wednesday, November, 14, 2012, surrounded by his loved ones. Al was born October 9, 1928 in Greenwood Township to Cecil and Cora (Brown) Spaulding. He graduated from Hesperia High School and joined the United States Air Force where he served for 4 years and then returned to and has been a lifelong resident of the Taylor Bridge area. Al worked at Continental Motors and CWC Textron until his retirement. Al enjoyed fishing, woodworking, puzzles, and especially treasured time with his grandchildren. He was a member of the White Cloud Eagles where he was currently serving on the Board of Directors and was a member of the Holton Church of God. He is survived by his wife Marylyn of Hesperia, his children Glenn (Gayle) Spaulding of Hesperia; Donald (Anna) Spaulding of Lakewood Club; Joseph (Mary) Spaulding of Holland; Theodore (Connie) Spaulding of Hesperia; Elizabeth (Gary) Wall of Wisconsin; Elaine (Frank) Crofoot of Oregon; Robert Spaulding of Hesperia; Stacy Lou Mejia of Hesperia; Tracy Teep Spaulding of Hesperia; Donna (Miguel) Melo of Fremont; 26 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; his sisters and brothers; Marjorie Place; Barbara Annis; Keith Spaulding; Frank "Bud" Spaulding; and Evelyn Bonstel. He was preceded in death by three sisters, Shirley Spaulding; Beatrice Gardner; and Beverly Walker. MEMORIAL SERVICES: Saturday, November 24, 2012 at 1:00 pm at the Holton Church of God with a memorial luncheon to follow at the White Cloud Eagles. MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS: To the charity of the donors choice.
