Wayne Gustman, age 81 of White Cloud, passed away Sunday, April 26, 2020 at the Transitional Health Services in Fremont. Wayne was born on May 2, 1938 in Fremont to Victor and Maude (Morton) Gustman. Wayne has been a lifelong resident of the White Cloud area and had been a truck driver for many years then owned and operated Gus' Service Station in White Cloud for several years and eventually started Gus' Excavating until his retirement. Wayne married Betty (Price) Crisler in 1977 in White Cloud and Betty preceded him in death on April 30, 2019. Wayne enjoyed traveling the United States, enjoyed being in the outdoors – fishing, hunting and boating; and riding motorcycles in his younger years. Wayne was a charter member of the White Cloud Lions Club where he had been an active member. Wayne is survived by his children, Carol Gustman (Rick Oke) of Croton; Bill (Robin) Gustman of White Cloud; his grandchildren, Carl "Bud" Zmrzlik; Chad Zmrzlik; Amanda Gustman; Sabrina (Henry) Nickoloff; Cody Hildebrand; Monica (Curtis) Irwin; Cory Hildebrand; his great grandchildren, Ethan, Carter, Annabelle, Kadence, Tehyah; Henry, Moriah "Red", Mackenzie, Brode, Jurnee, Xander, Christian and Willow; his sisters and brothers, Arlene (Tom) Hilton of Arizona; Virginia (Bill) Bowen of White Cloud; Richard (Pat) Gustman of Newaygo; James (Sandra) Gustman of Hesperia; Jan (Todd) Stone of Suttons Bay; Dan (Sheryl) Gustman of Newaygo; Larry (Louise) Gustman of White Cloud; many nieces and nephews. Memorial Gathering and Celebration of Life Services will be held Saturday, June 20, 2020 from 1-3pm at the White Cloud Lion's Den. Private graveside services at the Big Prairie Everett Township Cemetery in White Cloud. Friends may consider memorial contributions to the White Cloud Lion's Club for memorial contributions in memory of Wayne.
